LVS - Covered Call - New Trade

The Trade

LVS is a ticker I trade on a regular base. Over the past 5 years it was trading between  $35ish and $65ish.

Current yield is 2%. 
The 40ish level is a good support level.

I bought 100 shares for 40.14 and sold next week Friday's call for 49c. If I get called out, the return will be 36c + 49c = 85c/$40.14 = 0.0211 or 2.11% ROI.

If LVS does trade below $40.5, then I get to keep the 49c and sell another call. In this case the return is 49c/$40.14 = 0.122 or 1.22% ROI.

In the last 2 weeks I added to WU and CAH. THQ only got $150 despite the scheduled $300.

Going forward, these posts are going to be biweekly posts. My work schedule and research does not allow for more than this.

YTD $1,065.56 of dividend made it into the account. 

The replacement of QYLD with FEPI is completed. THQ still has 387 left to be invested over the next  week. This are 87$ more then scheduled, but I want that off my table.

The top 3 performers of the account:

AVGO: up 156%
META: up 75%

CI: up 72 %

The worst 3 performers:

BEN: down -26%

RYLD: down -18%

CMG: down -13%

YTD $1005.17 of dividend made it into the account. 

The replacement of QYLD with FEPI is completed. THQ still has 537 left to be invested over the next 3 weeks.

Plans for next week

OKE will get 150$ this week.

Week 176 + 177 (till Jul 26, 2024)

Week 176 the contribution went into ENB. The first $150 went into FEPI. Nothing was bought in week 177.

Review

YTD $890.70 of dividend made it into the account. 

There will be another replacement in the account. THW will be replaced with THQ.
The same game will be done here. The proceeds will be invested in 150$ chunks.

Plans for next week

In total for week, there are $300 from the contributions. They will go in equal parts to JEPQ and SPYI.

FEPI will get $150, leaving $259.12 for the next 2 weeks.

THQ will get $150. As I don't know what the proceeds from THW are, the numbers will be updated, when I got them.

Week 175 (till Jul 12, 2024)

As planed I added 150$ to BAM

Review

 YTD $844.09 entered the account. 

I will be rearranging the positions a bit. When I started the goal was to have not more then 50 positions. I now have 67. This is now getting to much work for record keeping and keeping up with information.

Any cash from a sold position will be devided into $150 chunks and gets re-invested until this is gone.
Some positions also will be replaced to have a more narrow focus.
The first replacement is QYLD. It will be replaced with FEPI. The focus is exclusively 15 technology stocks. I am going to sell the 31.14 shares the portfolio has.

Plans for next week

This week 150$ will go into ENB. $150 of the proceeds of QYLD will move into FEPI.
